SierraSoft BIM Checking is the modular software extension for the information analysis and verification of models of land and transportation infrastructures

For information models to be applied, they must meet requirements for completeness, transmissibility and congruence. All the information models concerning a project must be interrelated and must be coordinated with reference rules. SierraSoft BIM Checking includes dedicated tools for the BIM Coordinator that can also be very useful to the BIM Specialist in support of the creation of information models. The integration of the BCF (BIM Collaboration Format) standard enables rapid sharing of model topics and issues. SierraSoft BIM checking is composed of three separate modules that can be purchased separately:

BIM Checking Validation

Software extension for information model validation

BIM Checking Validation is the software extension for analyzing, verifying, and validating the informational content of models. Among the functionalities are:

• Analyze, verify and validate the structure
• Analyze, verify and validate the elements
• Analyze, verify and validate the information content of entities
• Analyze and verify information inconsistencies (properties)
• Verify and validate correspondence to the requirements of the Post-contract BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and Employer Information Requirements (EIR)

BIM Checking Compare

Software extension for comparing informational models

BIM Checking Compare is the software extension for comparing informational models. Among the functionalities are:

• Identify differences on geometries and data
• Compare the model with the axis data
• Compare the model with land survey data
• Analyze and compare the As-Built
• Analyze and compare the model with surfaces: roads, railways, survey, etc.
• Analyze and compare the model with the sections and longitudinal profiles
